Summit VI in Minneapolis - April 29 & 30

 

The Christian Alliance for Orphans’ annual summit has become the national gathering place for Christians committed to adoption, foster care and global orphan care ministry.

At Summit VI in Minneapolis on April 29 and 30, you can join organizational leaders, grassroots advocates, pastors, and ministry leaders of all walks that share your passion. You will also encounter an unparalleled hub of orphan ministry partnership, networking and inspiration for service, while you build your knowledge, resources and practical skills via more than fifty workshops and plenary sessions. Featured speakers at this year’s summit will include John Piper, Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman, Al Mohler, Patricia Arzu, Tom Davis, Stephanie Fast and Doug Sauder.

Many churches from the DFW Alliance will be in attendance and several DFW Alliance ministry leaders will be presenting. We invite you to join us for what is certain to be an encouraging, educational and inspirational experience.

About DFW Alliance

The DFW Alliance was organized in early 2006 to bring together local church adoption and orphan care ministries from various Christian churches in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. It was founded by Tapestry, a ministry for adoptive and foster families at Irving Bible Church in Irving, Texas, and “His Child” Orphan Care Ministry at Christ Chapel Bible Church in Ft. Worth, Texas.

The DFW Alliance seeks to provide area ministries and church leaders with opportunities to share ideas and coordinate and collaborate on events and activities to serve adoptive and foster families as well as orphans, at-risk children and children in the local foster care system. The DFW Alliance also focuses on efforts to create and support effective local church adoption, foster care and orphan care ministries across the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
